Sunday Farmers' Market

The Sacramento Sunday Farmers' Market is very cool. It is HUGE and it's under several freeways, so it's also very, very loud. Sensory overload for sure. There are an insane amount of people there, but there's lots of free parking - which, in the city, is a wonderful surprise.

Valentines' Day Breakfast

We celebrated today by going out to breakfast as a family. Then we went to the Farmers' Market, and Oliver and Toby went to the Train Museum while I went to church downtown.

Making Friends. Mom's Group Day at the Park.

We met up with the neighborhood's mom's group today at the park by our house. There were a lot of boys Toby's age there for him to play with - and adults for me to talk to - which was really, really nice. We both had a lot of fun. We almost left half-way through because it started raining - but before we even got a chance to get the kids ready to leave, it stopped. Some of us decided to stay, and some of us used the five minute shower, as an excuse to brake for lunch. All the rain has made everything very green. I think it's going to be a really beautiful Spring.

I thought we'd go grocery shopping before Toby's nap today, but I guess he was more tired than I thought. Poor guy was nodding off in the cart, so I took off my sweater and let him use it as a pillow.

He's been getting over a cold and he must have been really tired. I transfered him into his carseat, drove home, transfered him into his bed, and he slept through it all!
