Our Little Garden of Weeden

Hey Toby, wanna help Mama water the plants?
I'll take that as a "yes".
The plants, sweetie. The plants are over here.
Getting warmer.
I can't believe how big my tomato plant has gotten. Yesterday we added: basil, sage, cilantro, lavender, and some Cosmos Bright Lights seed mix in a little terra cotta pot.
I'm so happy with my little container garden, I can barely contain myself!

Our Neighbor, the Owl
There is a Muslim family that lives a few doors down from us and so, we see the same veiled woman on a fairly regular basis, leaving her apartment to meet her kids at the bus stop when they come home from school. She is very sweet to us and always asks how we are whenever we see her. I'm usually busy chasing Toby around and making sure he doesn't run out into the parking lot (he LOOOOVES to run out into the street and parking lot), so I have yet to ask her her name. She wears a black hair scarf and different colored plain skirts each day.
Today she was wearing brown.
When Toby saw her this afternoon, he pointed and said, "The owl, the owl. Whoo Whoo whoo."
Part of me was embarrassed, and I hope she wasn't offended, but part of me thought it was pretty funny too, because, now that he mentioned it, I could see how he'd think she looks like an owl - and, I don't think she even heard him.
Or at least she played it off well.

The Blueberries
Earlier today, over blueberry pancakes:
Me: Life is sweeter with our blueberry eater.
Oliver: Yes, life is super with our blueberry pooper.
