Snack Time by the Park's Fake Stream

It's very hot here. Fresno Summers are not for the faint of heart. We were at the park earlier this morning and Toby was running around having a good time, and I remarked to one of the other moms, "Can you believe it? It's over 100 degrees and he's running around like a mad man!" and she said something about young children being a different breed - and then, all of a sudden, like a switch was turned on- all of a sudden, just like that, he realized it was ungodly hot! He wailed like he did when he had to have stitches in his lip two weeks ago! Wailed and sobbed, "H the hot." he said over and over again. "H the hot". I got him to calm down and convinced him to leave the park so we could go home and eat popsicles. But, in order to get him home I had to put him in the car, which must have been over 200 degrees - and he freaked out all over again. He fell asleep on the ride back and is napping right now - looking very comfortable in our air conditioned apartment.
