Oliver's Birthday Lunch in Exeter

Oliver's birthday was on Wednesday. My mother-in-law wanted to take him out to celebrate, so we went to visit her today in Exeter (about a 45 minute drive from Fresno).

She read Toby lots of books at her house

while Oliver and I made ourselves comfortable on her couch. Oliver was so comfortable, he feel asleep.

We went to this really yummy cafe called "Wildflowers"

And Toby made himself comfortable on their couch.

Happy Birthday Sweeite!

We walked there, because we are out of our minds.

It was 97 degrees around lunch, and got up to 110 this afternoon.

Toby decided, half way through the trip back, that we needed to stop and spend some time hanging out on this bench in the shade.

We aren't used to this heat, and happily agreed that it was a good idea to stop and rest for a while.

Oh my god, is was hot today.
