We Went to the Park with Matina and Anthony Today

Our new friends, Maina, and her 4 year old son, Anthony, came over to our house today. The boys played with trains while we caught up over coffee in the morning. We walked along the river and went to the park in the early afternoon and then went back to our place for a late lunch and more Thomas the Train time. It was in the 80's today - already - so I figured we especially needed to get out and do this before it gets too hot to want to walk around outside. I will probably continue to take Toby to the park long after that anyway, because we spent last Summer in Fresno, and I'm crazy like that. Anyway, it was a beautiful day. (Since Anthony was on his bike, we shortened the trip from our usual 5 mile loop to the actual distance between our house and the park; 1.5 miles each way. We also took things slow - took a lot of breaks for snacks and flower picking - and that kind of thing.)
