Nevada City, CA

I went to Nevada City this past weekend for a Deep Tissue Massage workshop.

The Mexican place next door framed one of their grease-stained cookie sheets because the stain reminded them of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Awesomeness! I had to take a picture. A man, who I assume is the owner, asked me what it looked like, and I said "The Virgin of Guadalupe, of course," and he loved that I wanted to take a picture of it. He said they were bringing it to the church the next day to get blessed.

I loved Nevada City. It is such a cute little town. Population 3,000 very friendly, very cool people and fantastic, historical, Victorian buildings. Adorable.

I love Nevada City, too! A friend of mine is a chiropractor there, and he has a lovely wife and almost 3 year old daughter. Come to think of it, a dental school classmate of mine lives there with her family, too. Her husband is also a dentist, but he went to dental school way before we did. It's a great little town!
